Crispy Sweet Corn recipe is a very delicious evening snack that is not only healthy but easy to make. In monsoon season corn is available in different varieties. Ingredients to make Crispy Sweet Corn

  • 2 cups sweet corn (boiled with salt)
  • 1/4 cup rice flour
  • 1/4 cup corn flour
  • 1 tsp all purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper powder
  • 1/2 Kashmiri red chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp roasted cumin powder
  • 1/2 amchur powder (dry mango powder)
  • 2 tsp finely chopped onion
  • 2 tsp finely chopped capsicum
  • 2 tsp finely chopped coriander leaves
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying 3 tbsp

How to make Crispy Sweet Corn

  • Take boiled sweet corn in a large bowl.
  • Mix rice flour, cornflour, all purpose flour, black pepper powder and salt in it.
  • Now put this mixture in hot oil on medium heat and fry till golden brown.
  • Then remove it on kitchen paper and keep it for 1 minute.
  • Take this fried corns in a large bowl mix Kashmiri red chili powder, roasted cumin powder, amchur powder and add onion, capsicum, green coriander.
  • Mix all well and serve.

Recipe Note:

  • You can use normal corn cob or American corn cob also to prepare Crispy Sweet Corn.
  • Add few drops of lemon if amchur is not available.
  • For more flavours and taste add finely chopped green chillies.
