Ingredients:
- 1 cup Macaroni (Elbow Pasta)
- 2 tablespoon oil
- 1 medium onion (chopped)
- 1 large tomato (chopped)
- 1 teaspoon Ginger Garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon Red chili powder (Deghi Mirchi)
- 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- Salt as per taste
- 1 tablespoon coriander leaves finely chopped
How to make Masala Macaroni
- Boil Macaroni for 6-8 minutes in 3 cups water. Drain and pour cold water over the macaroni. Drain again and keep aside.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium flame.
- Add chopped onion saute until translucent.
- Add ginger garlic paste and saute until raw flavor goes off.
- Add chopped tomato and saute until mashy.
- Now add salt, turmeric powder and red chili powder. Mix well and cook for 3-4 minutes.
- Add boiled macaroni. Mix well and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot Masala macaroni.
Recipe Tips:
- While boiling macaroni add 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
- I mostly use Pastas prepared from Semolina. These are healthy and easy on stomach as compared to those prepared with fine flour.
